Biju is PwC’s international expert on Smart Cities and Technology Enablement and relocated to India from PwC US to enhance the Indian firm’s capabilities in the smart cities sector. He has worked on smart city projects in the US, Europe, Middle East and India and bridges PwC India’s capabilities with PwC member firms in the US, Middle East, Europe and Japan. He spent a major part of the last two decades in the US where he was leading several large transformative initiatives. His global experience spans international development, technology transformation and 10+ Smart Cities projects and has advised ministers, bureaucrats, heads of multilaterals and city administrators on strategy, transformation and execution.
Within India, he has advised Ministry of Urban Development, multiple Indian states and cities,leading industry chambers and the private sector
His experience spans greenfield, brownfield and relocated to capital cities for urban planning, strategic program management offices for smart city deployments, city safety, public security, health, skill, employment, education, utilities, mobility, C2/C3 and communications networks for various markets.
Prior to PwC he has worked on regulatory and technology initiatives for Volkswagen Group, Citigroup, US Department of Education, Aetna and Berkshire Hathway/GEICO.
